Water Tank The City of Port Hueneme provides drinking water to over 21,000 people through approximately 6,500 water service connections. The City’s water system is made up of more than 100 miles of pipeline. The Water Division staff ensures that the water supply meets or exceeds State and Federal standards.                  


In compliance with State regulatory requirements, the City’s Water Division publishes an annual 2019 Water Quality Consumer Confidence Report (PDF). The purpose of this report is to keep the City’s customers informed about the quality of the drinking water. The Report provides specifics about the clarity, minerals, and microorganisms measured in samples throughout the year.

The 2020 COPH Urban Water Management Plan 2020 Public Draft (PDF) and 2020 COPH 2020 Water Shortage Contingency Plan Draft (PDF) is now available to view.

Water customers can read the 2015 COPH Urban Water Management Plan (PDF) to see the current water use in the City as well as expected water use. 


The City adopted Water rates on February 18, 2020.
