Our Mission 


The Housing Authority of the City of Port Hueneme provides quality affordable housing to eligible households in a professional and fiscally prudent manner. Our agency strives to be a positive force in our community by working with other agencies to assist local families by providing support services. Further, the agency shares the mission of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment free from discrimination.

The Facilities Maintenance Division provides a safe, clean, and healthy work and leisure activity environment for the community and staff. The department is responsible for the maintenance repair and custodial services of all city-owned facilities.

We are currently accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section-8) (effective 06/01/2020) & Public Housing (effective 01/02/2020).
