Finance Department

The Finance Department is responsible for processing and maintaining all financial transaction of the City of Port Hueneme, Housing Authority, Port Hueneme Water Agency, and Surplus Property Authority.

Responsibilities

The Finance Department is responsible for

  • Accounts payable/Accounts receivable
  • General ledger accounting
  • Employee payroll
  • Enterprise accounting for the Water/Wastewater/Solid Waste Divisions, debt service, and budgetary accounting.

The Finance Department also provides analysis and financial history to all departments for fiscal planning and operation.

Appointment
