Mayor Bobby Martinez

Port Hueneme City Council Member Bobby Martinez has been a Port Hueneme native since he was 5 years old. As a young boy he attended our local schools, including Hueneme Elementary, E.O. Green and Hueneme High School. 

After graduating with honors he decided to go to college in Ventura to earn an Associates Degree and then transfer to UC Santa Barbara to study Mathematics. He then came back home where he would get his teaching credentials from CSU Channel Islands. 
 

EDUCATION

Bobby is now entering his seventh year of teaching within the Oxnard Union High School District and has taught many math classes including an AP Calculus class, Geometry and even College Algebra and Bio Statistics at CSUCI.

In his free time Bobby enjoys playing basketball, hiking and traveling. You can regularly find him running, skating or riding his bike around town. Bobby Martinez is a cheerful and optimistic young individual whose heart has stayed in this City. Port Hueneme is his home! He cares about our community and plans on making all the best choices to better this city!
