2045 General Plan

The City’s General Plan Update will guide the City’s economic and physical development through 2045. The General Plan is a long-term blueprint proposing policy goals to guide Port Hueneme’s development. The General Plan update will include an update of the Port Hueneme Local Coastal Plan (LCP) and a Climate Action Plan (CAP). This update will ensure that the City remains livable, economically resilient, and sustainable in the long-term.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) and related appendices will be available for public review and comment from July 23, 2021 through 5:00 p.m. September 6, 2021.  A public workshop regarding the DEIR will be held on August 25, 2021 in the City Council Chambers (COVID-19 restrictions permitting) from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Please email or mail comments to the City at the addresses noted herein, or you may provide them at the August 25 workshop.
