Utility Billing Information
Payments can be made in person at the Finance Department in City Hall located at 250 N. Ventura Road between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and alternate Fridays (See
) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
After-hour payments by check or money order can be placed in the drop box located at the exit end of the City Hall parking lot accessed from Pearl Street.
Visa and MasterCard payments can be accepted via telephone at (805) 986-6524 as well as in person.
The City of Port Hueneme also offers a direct pay program allowing customers to receive a paper water bill and have their payment automatically deducted from their designated bank account. To enroll, customers can call (805) 986-6524 to request an application. Customers simply return the completed application including their signature and a voided check to apply.
For those customers paying their utility bill through their personal bank, please note, the money is deducted immediately from the bank account. However, a third party cuts a paper check and sends it to the City of Port Hueneme for processing. This may cause a delay in payment. If the third party check is not received and processed by the bill’s due date, late penalties will be assessed. To avoid this please click on the Click2Gov link on the left side of this page. The payment is processed immediately.
