Code Violations/Abandoned Vehicles

If you are reporting a code violation or a parking or vehicle problem, you can contact Code Compliance at 805-986-6513 during regular business hours, Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can then talk to the Code Compliance Officer or leave a detailed message on voicemail. After business hours, weekends or holidays, if you contact the Police Department, the Dispatcher will take your information and pass to the Code Enforcement or Parking Enforcement Officer on duty. Depending on the activity, or circumstances, a Police Officer may be dispatched to handle the call. The Dispatcher can also transfer your call to Code Compliance and you can leave a voice mail for the next business day.
