In Port Hueneme, the police and the public are joined in an irrefutable allegiance to each other, united in the pursuit of public safety and peace.
As Chief, my goals for the Police Department are simple:
- To fight Crime
- To fully implement Community Police Problem Solving
- To ban Illegal Drugs, which destroy lives and breed crime
- To correct Juvenile Offenders and help At-Risk Youth before they damage themselves, their families and our community
- To be trained and ready to address Emergencies, whether natural or man-made
Every aspect of Police Department operations, from its organizational structure to personnel selections, can be measured against these fundamental objectives. How we spend money and how we spend time are directly related to supporting these community goals. We are committed to building the finest working relationship among the Department, the City Council, City Manager, City Attorney, other government leaders and the community at large.
The Port Hueneme Police Department is deeply ingrained with respect for all human beings. Corruption, bias and harassment have no place here.
