POLICE
RECORDS TECHNICIAN LINETTE ADAMS
On
April 10, 2006 the annual Oxnard Knights of Columbus Public Safety
Night recognition dinner was held in the City of Oxnard. The
recipient this year for the Port Hueneme Police Department was
Police Records Technician Linette Adams. Linette Adams started
with the Port Hueneme Police Department in June 2000 as a Dispatcher.
In August 2003 she applied for and was hired as a Police Records
Technician. Her duties include typing all police reports, data
entry, and performs the majority of the live scan fingerprinting
for the Department. She is always offering to assist in the Communications
Center giving Dispatchers breaks and assisting during high profile
incidents. Her background as a Dispatcher has made her invaluable
to the Department as a resource for overtime coverage
POLICE
DISPATCHER ANNA HANELY
On
April 14, 2006 the annual Ventura County Dispatcher of the Year
recognition dinner was held in the City of Ventura. The recipient
this year for the Port Hueneme Police Department was Police Services
Assistant Anna Hanely. Anna Hanely started with the Port Hueneme
Police Department in July 2002 as a Dispatcher. In March 2006
she applied for and was hired as our Police Services Assistant.
Her main job is to be the secretary for the Chief and the Commanders
and assist in handling the daily functions for running the Police
Department. Anna Hanely was an excellent Dispatcher and the Officers
felt safe in the field when they knew that she was taking care
of them. She is sorely missed in the Communications Center but
we are expecting great things from her as our new Police Services
Assistant. Anna Hanely is still learning her new assignment and
has done an excellent job in adapting to her new job responsibilities.
