Message from your Beat 4 Coordinator After reviewing statistics for the month of July, I wanted to share what has been going on in Beat 4.
Crime Update: We had a homicide at Port Hueneme Beach this past month. The victim was found on the beach on July 12th and Detectives are continuing to work aggressively on this case. I have continued to see an influx of people drinking and smoking (narcotics) at the Hueneme Pier. Patrol Officers are conducting numerous foot patrols and citing violators. Residents inside the Surfside III complex continue to assist by reporting suspicious activity at several of the apartments inside. This has resulted in numerous arrests from that location. The HOA has been made aware and the property owner contacted. I have also coordinated several probation and parole searches in our Beat If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (805) 986-6612. My role as Beat Coordinator includes addressing issues such as crime, traffic, or any other quality of life concerns. I am available for neighborhood or business meetings or I can meet with you individually. Again, I am also available via email at RBurns@ci.port-hueneme.ca.us |
