Hi, I am Senior Officer Paul Gomez. I am your new Beat Coordinator. I have been with the Port Hueneme Police Department for thirteen years. My past assignments have included, traffic, gangs, Field Training Officer, Reserve Officer Program Advisor, and Police Explorer Advisor. My current assignment is patrol and Coordinator for Beat 3. Monthly, I will keep you informed of certain crimes that have occurred in Beat 3.

Message from your Beat 3 Coordinator

After reviewing statistics for the month of December, I wanted to share what has been going on in Beat 3.

Crime Update: The least criminally active area of the city with 1 arrest, 2 vandalism and 3 domestic violence reports.

On December 19, 2010 at 10:10 PM officers responded to a home invasion burglary at the senior building in the 700 block of North Ventura Road. The suspects threw a large brick, shattering the back sliding glass door. The 79 year old victim was confronted by two males wearing dark clothing who took money from her bedroom and fled through the shattered door.
